Knotted Rope Contrails (Doughnuts) - Jets leaving white contrails also belch out puffs of white circles that resemble knots placed randomly in a rope.

Lingering Contrails - Conrail's that are formed when a jet passes overhead. These contrails widen and linger over time, may form various patterns or clouds, before dispersing.

Mushroom Trails - One type of contrail formation that occurs when a jet leaves a contrail in its wake. (Thank you Tony!)

Puff Clouds - Chemically made clouds that appear and disappear with minutes after chemicals are released by jets into the atmosphere.

Sun Dogs

Toothpaste Contrails - Another type of contrail left by jets. This one has completely different characteristics than the Knotted Rope Contrails or the Mushroom type of contrail.
