The sight of jets leaving two, three, four and five contrails is a familiar sight over Mendocino, Lake and Sonoma Counties. Almost 200 rolls of film have been taken and hours of video tape have been used in documenting these unmarked, non-commercial jet planes leaving varying types of persistent or lingering contrails over over respective counties.. (Note: The white almost cloudy-looking haze in the background was the result of dissipated lingering contrails from jets flying over this area earlier in the day directly above the Ukiah High School in Ukiah.)
